The front yard gave our two year old a nice place to play, and the cottage had baby stair gates we could use. We spent a week here as a family and all enjoyed it. The clean, modern cottage was just the right size, with a queen bed in one room and two singles in the other. The kitchen had new appliances, the decor was modern throughout, and there was a lovely log burner in the lounge. Christian, the owner, was very helpful and kept in touch well throughout our stay. We'd gladly come back to Willow Cottage and recommend it.

Christian made a real difference to our visit. He helped us before and during the booking, met us at the train station, and shared lots of useful information about the cottage, village, and surrounding area. Since we loved it so much, he also helped arrange an extra night. The station is an easy walk away, and we found everything we needed in the village. My mother and I stayed at Willow cottage for a week. It was clean, well equipped, and a good size for us, with a queen bed in one room and two twins in the other. The layout worked well, and the kitchen was lovely, with new appliances. We'd highly recommend staying here, and thanks again to Christian for making the visit so pleasant.

Lostwithial worked really well as a base for exploring Cornwall, and there are plenty of local walks if you prefer to stay close by. We enjoyed the walk to the Duchy Nursery cafe, especially the massive pieces of cake. The cottage itself is tastefully decorated and lovely to stay in for a week. The kitchen was well equipped, with new, modern appliances. My two teenage daughters were comfortable sharing the twin room, while the master bedroom was large and luxurious. Lostwithial has lots to offer. There's no parking at the cottage, but the short walk to the nearby car park did us a small favour and helped us walk off the fantastic Cornish pasties from the local butchers. We'd recommend this cottage, and it was great value for money.

I'm staying with family three doors down on a delightful old street. I don't know Willow Cottage, but Lostwithiel is a lovely, interesting antique Cornish village. I'm so glad to be here.

Tucked away in a small village, this lovely cottage has plenty of character and all the modern appliances. The wi-fi was surprisingly good too.
