Guesthouse At Rempstone

The pub just around the corner was a real find, with a genuine community feel and reasonably priced drinks. They even let us have takeaway delivered there and brought out plates and cutlery. At the guest house, I had a friendly welcome, a clean, warm room, a comfortable bed and a quiet night's sleep. Breakfast was a simple continental spread. Everything was just right and better than I expected. Thanks for the hospitality, I'll be back.

The guesthouse is in a great spot for East Leake, which was where we needed to be. The rooms were clean, cosy and clearly recently decorated. We were a big group, so being able to help ourselves to the breakfast items in the kitchen worked really well. The new owners were attentive and met all our needs. They were around when we needed them, but kept things quiet in the mornings rather than cleaning right outside our rooms. A couple of small things could be added, liquid hand soap and toilet brushes in the bathrooms. Thanks for a lovely stay, we'll be back.

There was good parking and a warm welcome. The rooms were lovely and clean, with everything needed for a night. Breakfast wasn't included, which was reflected in the price, though a continental option would have been ideal.

Friendly host, a nice room with good facilities, and plenty of basic breakfast.
