Massingberd-mundy Rectory Guest House had only opened in Spring 2019, and it still felt very new when I visited. The owners renovated it to a very high standard, with fixtures and fittings better quality than the ones in my own home. Some work was still left to do, but it didn’t take away from how comfortable and peaceful my stay was.
We held a networking meeting here. The rooms were nice and the staff very helpful. We had the hot buffet, which was gorgeous and plentiful. We’ll definitely use it again.
The landlady made the stay a pleasure, and breakfast was a proper quality English one. A really good place to stay.
I came for some peace and quiet, and the lovely grounds gave me exactly the setting I wanted. The rooms were clean, and everyone was welcoming, friendly, and ready to help. I loved staying here.
This place is now let privately through South Ormsby Estate, rather than operating as a guest house.
