This used to be my regular place after I moved to Louth. I handed a gentleman his phone, but after my friend rang him and he put the phone down, I spoke to her on my own phone and then passed it to him. Now I’m being told that CCTV apparently showed me taking it. Not on, and completely unacceptable. I can see why people around here call it "smack horse"!

For £60 we had a basic but comfortable twin room with an en suite for one night. No b.large. Parking is round the back, between the pub and the rear of the library. The staff were friendly, and Doom Bar and Abbot Ale were on sale. It was a very quiet room once the Karaoke had finished.

Right in the middle of town, this is a great local pub with good beers at excellent prices. There’s sport on the TVs and lots going on, and all the shops are close by.

We dropped in for a drink during a weekend away because it was our friend's birthday, and everyone made us feel so welcome. The drinks were very reasonable, so we stayed the whole afternoon. When karaoke started, they sang Happy Birthday. I’ve never been somewhere so welcoming and inclusive. Thanks so much for making our day and our friend’s 60th birthday so special 🎂 🥳

A cosy pub on the high street, with a good range of ales at very good prices and reasonably priced bar snacks. The male member of bar staff wasn’t talkative at all, but otherwise it was a nice experience.
