The Old School

We met Jackie’s family and the dogs in the morning, and everyone was ace. The home-cooked breakfast was amazing, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and great to stay in. Jackie is a lovely person, incredibly helpful and accommodating. This quiet little village is off the beaten track, and this place feels like a hidden gem. We spent a night at the Old School House and would 100% stay again. Thanks to Jackie and family for the hospitality. Your new friend, the Honda man 😁

Jackie suggested the local Viking Walk, which was a great way to get a feel for the area. She was always available for questions and suggestions. The village is lovely, with a friendly shop and pub, and it’s close to Lincoln. If you want to explore the Lincolnshire Wolds, this is a great place to stay. The room was clean and cosy, breakfast was great, and the price more than fair. Jackie went above and beyond as a host. I can’t recommend the place enough and will be back.

Jackie made us all feel welcome at The Old School. Breakfast was generous and great, and she even cooked us a superb stew for an extra charge when the local eatery was closed. Top class service. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely look to come again.
