Bridge House B&B

We loved the peaceful garden, with fields behind it, and it was great for our dogs too. Red kites circled above the fields, while a pheasant and a woodpecker came into the garden. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms lovely, and everything we could want was provided, along with lots of thoughtful extras. There were welcome packs for us and for the dogs, which we really appreciated. The accommodation suited us perfectly, and the owners were friendly and helpful without getting in the way. We only wish we could have stayed longer. It was also a handy base for visiting all our favourite places.

We booked another visit as soon as we got home last year, and we’re delighted to be back. The cabin feels warm, cosy and welcoming, and there’s another generous basket of treats waiting for us, including one for the dog. We’re settling in for another lovely stay. Thanks, Alyson & Gaz 👍

The accommodation was the highlight, with an attention to detail unlike anywhere I’ve stayed. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the place felt on a level with five star hotels. The owners’ app for the property works really well, and they know the local area. The location is ideal, close to the town of Brecon. I’ll definitely stay again!

The road right beside the property wasn’t shown in the photos. We also had several problems that weren’t fixed while we were there: the freezer was VERY noisy, the fridge only got cold on its highest setting, and the bathroom basins only had cold water. I hope these are sorted for future visitors. And reporting faults first thing Monday morning, just two days into a week’s holiday, is entirely reasonable, whatever the owner may think!!!
