We usually spend time in the back bar, where there’s pool and darts, plus an outdoor seating area. The front bar is nice too if you want a quieter drink. We bring our children along, and they’re welcome there as well. Since the new landlords took over, my family and I have visited the George in lydd a few times. We’ve always felt welcome, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend stopping by. Keep up the good work, guys.

The live music was brilliant, and having it every Friday and Sunday is a big bonus. There’s a wide choice of beers, and the drink deals are good value. I went with a few friends and we were really impressed. We had an amazing Friday night at The George Hotel. The atmosphere was fantastic from the moment we arrived, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The new management have made a real improvement, and it’s lovely to see the pub busy again. They’re working hard, with plans to get the kitchen and food running in March. I’ll definitely be back soon. Well done to everyone involved!

Great atmosphere, a nice place to relax or have a bit of fun with pool or darts, or just have a conversation. The staff and new management are friendly and approachable. They’ve got some great drinks on offer.

This is my go-to local. The drinks are spot on, the staff are super friendly, and there’s always a great atmosphere. It never disappoints, and I always have a good time here. Love this pub, highly recommend!

The new managers, Ash and Garry, deserve a huge congratulations. The hosts are so welcoming, and the service is absolutely amazing. The hotel feels really homely, and they’ve recently started serving some nibbles that are to die for. It’s a great place for family and friends. I’ll definitely be back with friends and family, and cannot recommend it enough.
