The owners were very friendly and always available if we needed anything. Rooms were immaculate, with a kettle and fan, and complimentary cereal to eat in your room. There was also a shared fridge freezer with water, milk, and OJ. Parking might be tricky if more than three cars are there, in which case you'd need to pay at the car park around the corner.

I was in England on my own, so being able to share a breakfast table was much nicer than eating by myself. Sue and Graham made me feel very welcome, and I was very pleased with the room. I'd definitely recommend this B&B, which is within walking distance of the town and harbour.

Two nights weren't enough to explore properly, so we'll book again for next year. The guest house is lovely, with cereals, fresh milk, and orange juice available for free, and free parking too. It's a five-minute walk into town. Five stars all round from me.

Auplands has become a repeat stop for me, and I'm back for a second visit. It's about five minutes on foot to Lymington high street and probably 15 to the harbour. The owners are very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with tea, coffee, biscuits, and water supplied. It's cosy rather than glamorous, and there's a good English breakfast with cereals and other choices. I'll be back again.
