The roast dinner sharing board was pretty average, though reasonably priced. The turkey was probably the best part, and the vegetables were quite good. The setting was nice, and the staff were nice too, so an extra star for those.

For my husband’s birthday we had dinner at Stanwell House, and it was a really wonderful meal. The service was warm and enthusiastic, and they took note of our request for a quiet table. They even brought him a surprise birthday treat. There were lots of lovely menu options, all of which looked delicious. We both chose the scallop starter and venison main. The food was beautifully presented, with exquisite flavours and textures. We had yummy desserts too, all in a stylish hotel.

I met clients for dinner at Stanwells last night after recommending they stay at the hotel. We were all impressed by the delicious food and excellent service. They were pleased with the accommodation too, so the whole experience was great. Thank you.

This was our second visit and stay, and it’s all brilliant. From the warm welcome right through to checkout, every staff member has character, smiles and pays attention. They make you want to return. Worth every penny. Thank you. We’re a couple in our 30s with a dog.

Zachary was a funny, friendly and excellent server when I visited the Salt Bar for cocktails today. The drinks were very good and great value for money. I’d recommend stopping by if you’re in the area, and I’d definitely go back.
