There’s loads of space outside, where kids can roam and entertain themselves on the climbing frame and extra-large Connect Four. Inside, the pub feels cosy and very traditional. Chris behind the bar was welcoming and knew the local beers on tap; when we came back for another drink after eating elsewhere, he even gave us a ‘weeeyy!’ We really enjoyed our time there.

Since reopening as The Red Lion, this pub has given the village a social hub and a real focus. It has the warm, friendly atmosphere and staff you want from a local village pub. There’s live music, quiz nights, darts and pool, and even a string quartet and a piper have appeared. Barry Chuckle himself once contributed a guest quiz question. It simply has everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We love this pub. The owners and staff are great and always make us feel at home. They put on good live music every Sunday afternoon, which is always worth checking out. Just great people and a proper pub atmosphere.

This is the most badass bar in Milford. The bartenders are great, with five-star service and a good drink selection. There’s a pool table, sick music nights and a darts league. They’ve got it all. Don’t sleep on this 😎
