East Lyn House

We left feeling completely relaxed after our stay at East Lyn House. It’s such a beautiful, welcoming place, and the breakfast and service were amazing. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

We’d highly recommend staying here if you want lovely scenery and views, comfort, and a host who takes good care of you. Lorna was always available with helpful advice and recommendations, and nothing was too much trouble. She was on her own for the first part of our break while my husband was away, but her son and his partner pitched in and were wonderful too. It really felt like a well-run family business. We stayed at the East Lyne this past weekend, as a birthday treat my husband had booked for me, and honestly the whole experience was amazing.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with cereal, fresh fruit, croissants, and a cooked option. Thanks, Steve, it kept us going all day. We had a lovely five-day visit to Lynmouth and stayed at East Lyn House. Lorna and Steve were so welcoming. Steve greeted us on arrival and helped with our bags, then Lorna showed us around and took us to our room. They offered us tea on the terrace, and we knew straight away we’d have a good stay. Our room was clean and lovely, with a comfortable bed and a nice ensuite bathroom with a shower. We could see both the sea and river from the room. It was exceptional, and we’ll be back. Thank you both for a fantastic stay.

Lynmouth was so clean, not a bit of litter anywhere. The Cliff Railway was astonishing, and The Rising Sun had excellent food from a Michelin Star chef, a former champion of MasterChef: The Professionals. I could go on, but just trust me, have a holiday here and stay at East Lyn House, you won’t regret it! We’ve just come home from a brilliant three-day break. Steve and Lorna were the best hosts, and we left feeling as if we’d spent the weekend with our best friends. Our room was excellent too, and the full English breakfast kept us going until dinner.
