Pine Lodge Guest House

Wendy and Steve are wonderful hosts, and by now they feel like friends, almost family. This was our first visit this year, with the first of three, maybe four, stays planned as usual. That probably says it all! The bedrooms are spacious, spotless and have everything you need. It’s a lovely location overlooking the valley, with Lynton and Lynmouth close by and the Lynton and Barnstaple Heritage Railway at Woody Bay not far away. I’d fully recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the area. Happy holidays!

The walks, scenery and peaceful setting made Pine Lodge a great place to unwind, and we’d definitely recommend it. We spent six nights there and it’s among the best B&Bs we’ve stayed in. Steven and Wendy greeted us with tea and cake, then showed us to our beautiful, spotless Room 3 overlooking the woods and hills, and even helped with our heavy cases. Breakfast had plenty of satisfying choices and kept us going well into the afternoon. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt completely safe, with all the Covid regulations in place throughout our stay, and we’ll definitely return.

Wendy and Steven were such good hosts, and the little thoughtful touches made the place feel welcoming and homely. Everything was immaculate. The scenery is beautiful, with breathtaking views to wake up to and some amazing walks just a stone's throw away. I’ve uploaded a few photos. I’ll definitely come back, and stay longer next time. We spent two nights in the suite, a lovely room with all the home comforts we could need. From arrival, the owners, Wendy and Steve, made us feel welcome. They’re lovely hosts, and the guest house is in a fantastic setting. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Pine Lodge. Hopefully we’ll see you again soon.
