We stayed for four nights while exploring the area, and it was well worth it. The pub downstairs gets busy and has a good range of beers, with friendly staff too. Our room was simple, clean and comfortable. We booked room only and had light breakfasts at a nearby coffee shop, so I can't comment on the hotel's breakfast.

The food was really good, and the rooms were spotless. It's a lovely hotel with everything you need, plus Aldi has a big car park.

We had dinner with friends. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was excellent for the price given its quality.
