The Heights at Athena Court

The apartments are very nice and the staff clearly care, so I’d still recommend staying here, especially for a longer trip when having a whole apartment is useful. A few things could be better, though. I hadn’t realised check-in was online only and there was no reception, which was a bit of a faff, though I may have missed that information. Parking for four days cost nearly £40, which felt expensive and hadn’t been mentioned beforehand. The area isn’t brilliant either, and the entrance around the back was hard to find.

The apartment block worked really well as a home from home, and the staff were helpful with all my questions. We had a spacious two bedroom apartment for two adults and two kids, with plenty of luggage storage, glossy kitchens and neutral decor. It’s modern and beautiful inside, and about a 20 minute drive from Legoland Windsor, with local amenities nearby. Parking is limited and fills quickly, while on street parking isn’t an option. We couldn’t get a space at the building, but found Hinds Meadow car park, a five minute walk away. It’s open 24/7, with no charge from 9pm to 9am. We’d definitely stay again if we return to the area.

It’s clean and well placed near the town centre, with Waitrose and Sainsbury's nearby and a few pizza places right by the building. The rooms are spacious, and housekeeping comes once a week. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, washer-dryer, TVs with a broad selection of channels, a mailbox, and a complimentary parking permit. Entry to the complex is secured with a code. I was highly satisfied with the apartment.

This was our first place to stay when we came to the UK. The service apartment is lovely and has all the facilities nearby.
