ORIDA Maidstone Hotel

The reception team were welcoming and helpful throughout, but our room wasn't clean when we arrived. We struggle with dust mites, and being told that rooms get a deep clean every two days was concerning. Someone came to vacuum, yet we could still feel the mites afterward. I think the hotel needs a more regular, thorough cleaning routine.

Breakfast was really nice, and Madison and the team made check-in easy and helped with everything I needed. The pool and fitness centre are in very good condition. The rooms feel a bit dated, though, and there's no air conditioning or hair dryer.

I was there for a wedding rather than staying at the hotel. The outdoor area was very nice, and the service was great. Our three-course meal was excellent, with everything well timed and handled. I'd definitely recommend it for an event like a wedding. Loved it.

Breakfast was nice and the staff there were pleasant, but the night in room 146 was rough. We arrived Friday for one night and paid £6 to park our own car. At first the room seemed good because it was near the front of the building, but people kept standing outside chatting loudly, apparently not realizing it was a room. It went on several times, right up to 3am, so I hardly slept. Then at 6am we heard trolleys being taken through the door opposite, maybe to the kitchen. I meant to raise the noise issue, but after waiting at the desk for a few minutes without seeing anyone, I had to leave. I won't be hurrying back. I expect the usual cop-out about retraining the staff.
