The room was spotless and incredible, and the breakfast was fabulous. It was an easy short ride into town, and John shared loads of useful ideas for things to do nearby. John and his wife were lovely from our first contact right through to the end. We’d got our dates mixed up, but John kindly changed the booking to the right date without charging us. This was our favourite place of the whole trip. If you’re staying in the area, I’d pick this place. Thanks again, John!

The owners were friendly and helpful, and there’s off road parking and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast had fruit and juice, yogurt, pastries, and a choice of cereals. The bright, clean room came with a very comfortable bed, nice linen, and plenty of fluffy towels. There was tea and coffee too, plus a mini fridge with fresh milk and bottled water. I’d happily recommend it.

We could come and go whenever we liked thanks to the separate entrance. The welcome was warm, and the room had more than we needed. A really pleasant stay, definitely recommend!

The garden was lovely to sit in, and the night was quiet and peaceful, so I slept well. I stayed one night at Hanson House on Saturday 18th July. The room was beautiful and absolutely spotless. John, the owner, was welcoming and friendly, and we had a good chat. I chose well and would stay again. Highly recommend this guest house.

I was just a 5min drive from the party, which worked out great for me. The room was lovely and clean, and the service felt warm and welcoming.
