The hotel is ideally placed near both the train station and city centre, and the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. We also enjoyed the bar area, which had a nice atmosphere. We stayed for one night while we were attending the world snooker championship. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the included breakfast was delicious, with a hot buffet and plenty of other options. I’d happily recommend the hotel and hope to come back.

It’s a very large hotel and naturally busy, given how close it is to the airport. My room was spacious and suited a business trip, with plenty of power outlets and USB ports. The bed was comfortable, and I didn’t hear much noise apart from the planes taking off, which don’t bother me personally. I stayed for one night before an early flight. Terminals 1 and 3 are about a 7-8 minute walk away, and Terminal 2 is around 15-20 minutes. The hotel has a pool, gym, 24-hour reception and breakfast from early morning. There are two restaurants, and I ate well at the hotel restaurant. Prices are high but in line with other airport hotels in the UK and elsewhere. The continental breakfast was fine, though it could have more choice. Staff were friendly, and the hotel lived up to expectations.

Michelle made my arrival so easy. I got to the hotel around 12:30 after an international flight, and she saw my room was ready, so there was no question about letting me check in early. I was grateful to get a shower and settle in. She also gave me parking information and mentioned that breakfast was good value and cheaper if bought in advance. She really went out of her way to look after me. The room was spacious, comfortable and quite clean. You can walk to the airport, the price is hard to beat, and there’s a fitness room open 24 hours.

The room was big and really quiet, and the club lounge had complimentary drinks and nibbles. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. A great place to stay before a flight.
