We were ashamed to be staying in such a disgusting “hotel”. We’d travelled for hours and it was late, but the place was filthy. There were holes in the ceilings, wet patches and a strong smell of damp. The room was dirty, and the towels were yellow and felt like cardboard instead of being white and fluffy. The whole place was so gross I can’t put it into words. We skipped breakfast because the thought of what the kitchen might be like made us feel ill. We just wanted morning to come so we could leave. I don’t know where the people who say it was fine stayed, but it wasn’t room 2 or the main building, trust me!

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and I always get a decent night's sleep here. I've stayed at this really nice hotel quite a few times. The staff are great and make the stay even better.

I was here for four nights for work, from 19/10/2025, and it wasn't a pleasant stay. The location was convenient, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The room smelled strongly of damp, and although I could put up with the dated look, the dirt and disrepair were unforgivable. The soap dispenser bottle supplied by the hotel had what looked like blood on it, and it wasn't mine. Limescale had clogged the shower head so badly that only three dribbles of water came out. I had to stand and wash myself down in a half-filled bath to stay clean each day. The bathroom radiator had a buildup of dirt that clearly hadn't been cleaned in years.

We slept really well in the bed and would definitely come back. The room was a great size, with a balcony where we could step out for fresh air. There was a small sofa and three other chairs, which was awesome. The bathroom could use an update, but it was okay for a one-night stay.

We stayed overnight, and it was a good, reasonably priced hotel for a stopover. The staff were really friendly.
