Archers House

We left without staying and had to find somewhere else, losing over £400 in the process. The place was really hard to locate, there was nowhere to park, and our room looked nothing like the photos. There was even a big hole in the wall as we went in. It’s a dump.

The house gets cleaned once a week, and maintenance comes if you complain, but the cleaners themselves were very noisy, banging doors and chatting nonstop. There was also noise from the next room through the thin walls, and the neighbourhood stayed loud past midnight on weekends. The room felt stuffy even with the window wide open. The heater couldn’t be turned off when it was hot outside, and the shower ran boiling with no cold water to mix in, though the bath was fine. Arrival instructions for the front or back door weren’t clear either. There’s one fridge for more than five rooms, so there wasn’t space for food. The room had no mirror, and no cutlery or kitchenette to use, which made the stay uncomfortable.
