We loved the relaxed luxury feel and all the carefully chosen details, from the stylish rooms to the quality amenities. The snacks and treats were a lovely extra, too. The Old Town House is right in the heart of Margate’s Old Town, with everything just a short walk away. Check-in and service were warm, professional and genuinely welcoming. The rooms were beautifully designed and immaculate throughout. A brilliant stay from start to finish, easily one of the best places to stay in Margate. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return.

When the electrics tripped at 7am, Mark was there in 15 minutes and got it sorted. Friendly service like that is one reason I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Margate. The place is right in the best part of town, among great shops, cafes and coffee shops. Try Big Shot for what could be the best breakfast you'll ever have, and great coffee too. The room wasn't huge, but it was very comfortable, with a fantastic mattress and great bathroom products. Everything about the place feels quality.

We booked at the last minute for last Saturday and were really pleased. The hotel is fabulous, spotlessly clean and finished to a high standard. The bedding feels luxurious, and the shower was the best I've had in a long time. Anne was so helpful. We'd definitely book again if we're back in Margate.

We were there in February, and the Old Townhouse was warm, cosy and comfortable. Service was impeccable and helpful, and we'd happily stay again. It's a perfect base, with all the good things Margate offers within easy reach.

I've stayed at the Old Town House twice and would highly recommend it. Mark and the team are really helpful, the rooms are tastefully done, and the location is hard to beat. Can't wait to return!
