Mike even helped us get our bags from our previous accommodation, which was above and beyond. We stayed at the Well Guesthouse in early May 2026 while walking the Ridgeway, and Mike and Megan made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Our room was a good size, with a comfortable bed and tea and coffee provided. Dinner and breakfast were homemade and delicious, and the packed lunches for our hike were really good value. We'd highly recommend staying here.

After a hearty home-cooked dinner and breakfast, we were ready for another day's walking. We stopped here on the Ridgeway with our dog and were warmly welcomed when we arrived. The room had the biggest bed I've ever slept in, and it was very comfortable.

Megan and Mike made me feel so welcome at The Well after my first day walking the Ridgeway. The room was lovely and had everything I needed, including towels, soap and a tea and coffee station. I had dinner and breakfast there, both delicious and great value, and paid for a packed lunch too. It was just perfect and clearly made with love. Thanks again for the stay, Alice

We're walking the Ridgeway, and this guesthouse is well set up for walkers, with a place for boots and a fridge stocked with bottles of water. We had a good meal and breakfast too. Thank you.

The hosts were delightful, and the homemade treats in our clean, comfortable room were a delicious surprise. We had a lovely short stay here on the way to Wales. Breakfast, which we pre-ordered the night before, was perfect.
