Michael was so warm and welcoming, and really attentive. We loved our overnight stay and will definitely return. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the room looked stunning, and all the little finishing touches felt carefully thought out. Breakfast was cooked just right. The whole house is immaculate and tastefully decorated, a little gem in Darley Dale.

The hosts, Michael and Patrick, were superb and happy to help with anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and thought it was excellent value. The area has plenty to see and do, with Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and scenic walks nearby. Deeley House B&B had so many thoughtful details, from the quality fixtures and soft furnishings to the spotless rooms and comfortable beds. There was also a wide choice at breakfast to get the day started. We’ll be back, thank you!

We’ll be back! Michael and Paddy gave us a lovely warm welcome, and their attention to detail really shows. Deeley House is brilliantly located, the rooms were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Breakfast is a treat here, with a varied menu including a full English, vegetarian and vegan choices, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, porridge with delicious compote and local Derbyshire oatcakes. You can also help yourself to cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast, juices, tea and coffee. Michael is so helpful. Each time we’ve stayed, he’s suggested good walks of different lengths, with nice places to eat along the way. The Heights of Abraham is a must for the fantastic views. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell and Matlock Bath are all close by, which makes the very comfortable beds especially welcome after a day out. Deeley House is a beautiful countryside stay, with tastefully decorated rooms and lovely little touches. We’ve spent another wonderful few days at this gem of a B&B and are already looking forward to coming back in a few months.

The breakfast was the best we’ve had at a B&B, beautifully cooked and presented. Everything was lovely, and nothing was too much trouble for them. We’ll definitely visit again.
