We slept really well here, the beds were so comfortable. There are books and games for a relaxed evening indoors, and lots of charming little touches that make the cottage feel welcoming. A lovely base in the Peak District. I'd happily choose it again.

Two good double bedrooms, a cosy sitting room, and a kitchen and bathroom with everything we needed. A handy place to stay when visiting Matlock, and we'd use it again.

We’re already talking about coming back soon. The cottage was snug and warm, with a lovely welcome pack and all the little extras that make a stay feel thoughtful. Those fairy lights around the fireplace looked brilliant too.

The two beds are huge and very comfortable, and there’s a nice deli nearby with pubs and bars close at hand. It’s a self-catering cottage, so I haven’t rated the service. The building is old, which means steep stairs and some uneven steps, in case that’s relevant for you. It’s well appointed and comfortable.

Everything we needed was there for our three nights. A lovely little find, spotlessly clean and nicely presented.
