Jennie and Graham made us feel at home as soon as we arrived at this lovely family run Guest House. We booked three top-floor rooms for my husband's 65th birthday with our children and grandchildren. They looked out over the garden and river. The rooms were comfortable, and the showers were especially welcome after hot days out. Breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day's activities. Later, we sat in the garden with a drink or two and were joined by other guests, which made the stay even more memorable. The setting is fantastic. An absolutely brilliant place to stay!

The rooms are nice, though a bit small, and breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The lady serving was very friendly and polite. Still, I was disappointed after reading such fabulous reviews. I booked by phone and explained that my arthritis meant I needed a low floor, but we were put on the top floor, up two flights of stairs. After we'd been out all day, we came back to find the room hadn't been tidied and the cups were still dirty.

The freshly cooked breakfast was lovely, and our hosts were friendly and very accommodating. Our room at Riverbank House was warm, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. We enjoyed the river view from the bedroom, the charming B&B decor and the town itself. We had a really lovely stay and would definitely recommend it and come back. Thanks for a great trip!

We felt very welcome during our lovely stay between Christmas and new year, and were given friendly, informative tips about the local area. The room was spacious and warm, with a big bathroom and everything we needed. Breakfast had lots of options and was very good. Great value, and we'd definitely recommend it.

Graham and Jenny made us feel welcome, as did the rest of the staff. Riverbank House was quiet and comfortable, with clean, excellent accommodation just a few minutes' walk from the shops and restaurants. It’s a lovely place in a beautiful area, and we’ll certainly come back.
