The Kinloch Arms

The food's fantastic, whether you eat in the bar or the restaurant. The presentation, taste, service and value are all outstanding. Caroline, Wendy and the chef work so well together. They're welcoming, chatty and good fun. It's a lovely spot for a relaxed evening, a decent meal and friendly banter. I'd recommend it highly.

I stayed for work. It was inexpensive, clean and nice, though the TV was small.

The staff were brilliant and couldn't have done more for us. We came with friends for a meal, and the food was absolutely delicious, though I forgot to take a photo. It's handy that the hotel is on a bus route, too.

We finally stopped in for lunch after passing by for nearly two years and talking about going in. I hadn't stayed over. Mum and I can be very fussy, and we aren't shy about saying when we're unhappy, but the service and food were spot on. The little bar has a lovely, quaint feel and a nice ambience. Arlene made us feel so welcome and included Mum in our conversation. That meant a lot because of her disability. I'll definitely come back, and hopefully take the bus so I can make an evening of it and enjoy the first-class service, food and atmosphere. Thanks, Arlene.
