Cowslip has started to feel like our second home. We’ve just come back from our fourth stay at White Horse Farm, this time over Christmas, after also visiting at Easter and in summer. It’s wonderfully quiet and private, with plenty to do nearby. The two-person barn is cosy, comfortable, and so well equipped that I’ve managed to cook Christmas lunch in its little kitchen twice. The layout and kitchen kit seem to cover just about everything. John and Louisa are lovely hosts, friendly and considerate, and always checking that things are right. The Christmas decorations are tasteful, with a tree inside Cowslip and another lit by the front doors. We had such a good time here last December too, and hope to keep returning for years.

We were sorry when our relaxing three-night break came to an end. The breakfasts were much appreciated and cooked just right, and John was really helpful and friendly. The barns are in a peaceful spot, while still being handy for the places we like to visit. The accommodation was warm and comfortable, especially welcome in the colder weather. We’d like to come back when the weather’s better and see the gardens and surrounding area.

Gunthorpe is very peaceful, though there’s nothing in the village itself. It’s easy to drive to Holt, Blakeney, or Cley in just a few minutes. We also enjoyed the Art-Cafe down the road, especially the coffee and chocolate tiffin cake, and there’s a delightful art gallery next door. We’ve nearly reached the end of four nights at Primrose barn and have had a great stay. It’s beautifully furnished and in excellent condition, with a particularly good shower, which isn’t always a given in British holiday accommodation. The internet worked very well too, surprising given the location. John & Louisa made us and our spaniel feel very welcome. We came on my brother and his wife’s recommendation after they’d spent two weeks here, and we hope to return soon.

Cowslip cottage was spotless, and we had a wonderful stay. John and Louise had left us eggs, milk, bread, and a lovely lemon drizzle cake that made my birthday. Thanks for making our visit so nice. We’ll definitely be back. Dennis and sue Smyth.

White Horse Farm is in a beautiful spot, and the owners, John and Louisa, gave us a really warm welcome. We had a lovely stay, with an extremely good breakfast brought to our room. Would thoroughly recommend it, and I’d love to return.
