Menstrie Castle Stay

Tracey and her family are always available if you need anything, and their local tips are incredible. The apartments are beautifully done and the place is gorgeous, right in the heart of the Ochill Hills. A great base for exploring the area and its history. Couldn’t recommend it more x

Tracey and her family clearly care about making guests feel looked after. They shared thoughtful recommendations and added personal touches throughout our stay. The apartment was spotless and had every amenity we needed, and the owners made check-in easy and were welcoming and attentive from the start. We’ve just finished our stay at Menstrie and were absolutely thrilled with The Alexander. Thanks You! We can’t recommend staying with them highly enough.

The location made a great base for exploring, with so much to see and do nearby. We stayed in the Baronet apartment, and it was beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean. The bed and bedding were high quality, so we slept perfectly. Tracey made everyone feel welcome and did so much for my friends. A fantastic stay in a castle, thank you again, Tracey. Five star accommodation!

Menstrie is a small village beneath beautiful rolling hills, with such lovely countryside around it. Edinburgh, Glasgow and plenty of other interesting places are easy to reach from here. We stayed in the “Turret” part of this lovingly restored old house, and there was more than enough room for our three boys and us. The furnishings were welcoming and cozy, making it a perfect retreat. The hosts are readily available if you need them, and it’s clear they want guests to feel comfortable and enjoy their time. The excellent reviews are true. Book without hesitation, you won’t regret it!
