Getting in was simple and clearly explained, and cheap local parking was only a three-minute walk away. The room was immaculate and so thoughtfully done, from the light fittings to the brushed gold bathroom fixtures. The bed and pillows were comfy, and there was a good fan and a TV with streaming services. 10/10, I’d recommend it and stay again. Thank you.

We booked at the last minute for a weekend away, and I slept amazingly well. The room had everything we needed for an overnight stop. The decor and style were lovely, and the room felt really well put together. I’d definitely recommend it.

The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, making this a great place for a short break. It’s right in the town centre, and there are a couple of nearby long-stay car parks, though you might return from a day out to find there are no spaces. There are two or three flights of quite steep stairs, so it may not suit anyone with limited mobility.

We had the spacious, open-plan top-floor room, and the styling was lovely. Just be ready for quite a few steep stairs. Most of it was great, but the floors could have been cleaner: after I spilled water and mopped it with a towel, the towel came away dirty. A hairdryer would also be useful, as I think it’s pretty standard in places like this, though the listing does say there isn’t one and luckily I brought my own. The location is great, right on the high street. The cafe or brunch place next door looked amazing, but we left too early to try it.
