Everyone on staff we met was helpful, and the receptionist who greeted us was chatty and offered to book breakfast at Pentrebach house and reserve a table for dinner. The hotel is conveniently just off the A470, linking to the M4. Our room was very clean, with a good-sized bathroom and a powerful shower, though the silicone needs replacing. The exterior could use power washing and repainting, and the windows need replacing. It is a little tired, but I found it very good for the price, despite being apprehensive after reading other comments.

If you're heading to bike park wales and want to keep your bike safe in your room, this place works. It's basically a standard premier inn in a building that's seen better days. Pleasant enough, but it isn't luxury, romantic, or high tech.

Rachel served us several times in the restaurant and was really helpful and polite. The restaurant was great, and the staff were courteous and helpful. Our room was spacious, with an amazing shower, bed, and mattress. A very nice hotel.

The staff were excellent, and I loved the venue and restaurant area. My only criticism is that room 112 looked a little tired: the bathroom could use paint, and its air vent wasn't working. I laughed at the signs asking people to tiptoe, since the stairs to the 1st floor creaked like nobody's business. Recommended.

We spent the day at Bike Park Wales, so this Premier Inn was in a great location for us. The front desk guys were friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious, warm, and clean.
