We arrived to find that the owner said our room was no longer available and claimed the booking had been cancelled, even though we’d booked through Expedia and paid in advance. The guest house had seemed convenient for the concert we were attending. She called her husband to sort it out; he arrived about 20 minutes later and was extremely aggressive and threatening. He said he didn’t advertise on Expedia, despite my having the booking paperwork in hand. We were so shaken that we reported it to the police. Terrible. Avoid at all costs!

We booked about six months ahead and arrived yesterday, only to be told by the wife that our room had already been booked out. The photo is NOT the council house at the correct address. Her husband came home, acted very aggressively, said he doesn’t use Expedia, and threatened us. The police were called, and they still have our money. This place is a scam. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

It’s just a double room with a shower, but it’s clean and comfortable for a quick visit to Milton Keynes. This little air B&B is enough for a night or two.
