The Park Guest House

I booked at short notice for a work stay and slept comfortably in a clean room. The staff were really friendly, and the hotel is right by the station. It was much better value than the big chain hotels in Milton Keynes.

We came as a group of football fans for a game at MK Dons Stadium and were looked after brilliantly by the team behind the bar. The landlord even drove us to the stadium in his own minibus, refused payment, and made two trips because there were so many of us. After the game, we came back to the same warm welcome. The Guinness was superb, the staff were fantastic, and I’d seriously recommend this place.

The staff are very friendly, and the room rates are good. It’s close to the train and bus stations, which makes it handy for getting to London or Birmingham. The pub is nice, but it feels like it needs something to make it special. The bar area could use a facelift and a proper tidy-up. It could be a great pub, but something’s missing.

The locals made me feel like an old friend, and the welcome and company were memorable. Kev, the landlord, was friendly and helpful, and his wife Angela was lovely and witty. It’s exactly what it says on the tin. If I’m within 30 miles of Bletchley, this is the only place I’ll stay.
