The garden was lovely, and we spent each morning watching birds with a nice cup of tea. Jean cooked a great breakfast with local produce and knows loads about the area. We stayed three nights for a break and to celebrate our 25th anniversary, and Mike made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. It felt like a home away from home. Our room had everything we could want, the bed was really comfortable, and we slept well. There’s plenty to see and do on Exmoor and along the coast. I miss Exford Lodge and the area already and need to work out when we can return. I absolutely recommend staying here.

Breakfast had lots to choose from and was very good. Our room was spotless, with all the little extras, including a jar of dog biscuits and a hairdryer. When we arrived at Exmoor Lodge, Mike & Jean offered us tea and biscuits, and Bella, our dog, got two biscuits as well. Mike kindly booked us a table at the White Horse, where we had a good meal. Mike & Jean were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. It was our first time in Exmoor National Park and won’t be our last, both for the area and for this lovely stay.

Suzanne and Bob made us feel really at home when we visited Exmoor Lodge last weekend. The rooms were lovely, clean, and had everything we needed, including internet access. We enjoyed the full English breakfast and will definitely return.

The cooked breakfast, made with local produce, was really tasty. We had a fabulous weekend break at Exmoor Lodge, with a warm welcome and a relaxed stay in beautiful surroundings. We’ll visit again.
