Dragon House

The downstairs communal areas were the highlight, and the kitchen is good and spacious. We had a great week here with our extended family. It’s a unique, fun place to stay, with lots of bedrooms, including quieter ones for kids who go to bed earlier. The hosts were great too.

The bar is the real highlight, such a cracking atmosphere. We stocked it ourselves and had a smashing bank holiday weekend. We rented the whole place, which was fantastic. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the huge dining room goes with a fully fitted, stainless steel, industrial-style kitchen. It’s a holiday home now, not a hotel. Couldn't be better.

We booked Dragon House for our 25th wedding anniversary and had a brilliant time celebrating with family and friends. The bar area was fantastic for the occasion, and outside there’s a large garden with plenty of tables and chairs. There’s also ample parking for lots of vehicles. The house was lovely and clean, with great bedrooms, a lounge and dining room, plus a large kitchen with commercial-size fridge, freezer and ovens. The owner was very friendly. I can’t praise Dragon House enough.

We only stayed a couple of nights in February, as we were heading to Wales for a family wedding, and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was clean, lovely and comfortable, and we felt very welcome. The food was great, and so was the service.
