Steps Farmhouse

The farmhouse building and garden are beautiful, and it had all the comforts we needed. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options from continental food to a full English made with local produce. Sharon and Paul were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. We had a fantastic stay.

Our eight-year-old daughter was thrilled to be shown the farm next door, since she loves animals. We also slept extremely comfortably and enjoyed a comforting breakfast in the lovely dining room. The property was clean, well presented, and the proprietors were just as welcoming and charming. Watchet and Maidenhead are only a 5-10 minute commute away. Thanks so much, we’ll be back.

Fantastic food and rooms. This is the nicest B&B we’ve ever stayed in, and a great example of how a B&B should be run.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a big varied menu and an amazing cooked option. Our room at Steps Farmhouse was pretty and comfortable, with everything covered, from tea, coffee and milk to toiletries and washing-up supplies. The garden is lovely and well kept, and there’s an honesty bar in the summerhouse during summer. We got a warm welcome when we arrived. We’ve already told friends and family about Sharon and Paul, and we’d definitely stay with them again if we’re in the area. We can’t praise our stay enough.
