7 Brewery Pool

Everything was immaculately clean, and the hot tub and garden were lovely extras. It’s a big, spacious place with a modern interior, well suited to a group of friends since every bedroom has its own en suite. Shops, pubs and restaurants are only a few minutes’ walk away, and there’s a local bus to Wigtown, Stranraer and other places. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

We came for the first time with a group of friends and will definitely be back. The house was cosy and comfortable, spotlessly clean, and the kitchen had everything we might need. From the back, there are gorgeous views over the river, with a lovely hot tub too.

We spent two nights at Brewery House and I’m already looking for an excuse to return. The hosts were fantastic, the room spotless, and the quality fittings and comfortable bed made for a good night’s sleep. There was an excellent shower in a spacious shower room, followed by a great breakfast. The salmon and scrambled egg was the best I’ve had. The whole stay was excellent value. We booked our B&B at the last minute but got a really warm welcome from the friendly couple who run it. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was fantastic, and it was excellent value. John makes pottery, and after we left we bought one of his mugs at the bike shop. There are lovely river views and a nice outdoor spot to sit with a drink.
