I stayed overnight in my van and enjoyed a few pints of Guinness. Didn't try the food, though the pub has a reputation for good homemade grub. It's a traditional, family-run place, with the same family at the helm for generations. The welcome was so friendly, I can't praise it enough.

We went for Mother's Day and had a tasty Sunday lunch with a good-sized portion. The staff were really attentive and happy to help with anything. We'll visit again.

I can see why getting a table at the Butcher’s Arms is so hard. The beef and lamb in the Sunday roast were both amazing, the best I've ever had.

Karen kindly let us leave our motorhome overnight, with fields and countryside all around. Inside, the pub felt cosy and welcoming, with old photos on the walls and friendly locals. Our evening meal was tasty, well cooked and so generous that I couldn't finish it. We paid £49 for two meals and two rounds of drinks. A really great place to visit, especially in a motorhome.
