The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. The problem was that we were told there was an accessible room, then after driving 130 miles we were given a room up 29 stairs, which isn't suitable for someone disabled. It was advertised as a B&B, but it isn't, and the Tea Room was closed too. The information shouldn't be misleading.

I checked out and moved to another hotel because my room smelled of smoke, and there was no breakfast or food at all. The tearoom doesn't exist either, so the information and advertising are false. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The little village is very sleepy, and the old sandstone buildings give it a historic feel. There's a post office, a bar and restaurant, and a small shop with a petrol station. The Baptist church, built around 1879, is lovely, though it wasn't open to visitors when I went.

This was our second stay, and the owner was welcoming and helpful again. It's room only, which is a real pity, but the rooms are clean and tidy, with en-suite showers and a very good shower room.
