The Port House

We stayed at the port house from 18 to 20 July. The room was very clean and big, with a lovely big queen bed, crisp white pillows and very good quality bedding. The bathroom was large, and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash smelled beautiful. It was well equipped, with cold water, tea, coffee and biscuits. If you run out, there's more in the lounge. There was also a good-sized TV. We slept well. The nearby ferry port didn't bother us, and we were on the front. There's a cafe about a 10-minute walk away with excellent food, and Heysham village is just up the road. A good pub with lovely food is 2 minutes away around the corner. There's plenty to do if you drive out. It was well worth the money, and we'd definitely come again. Thank you, Dave and Vickie.

I liked the communal room, which has a fridge, toaster and microwave. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and checking in and out yourself is easy.

The Port House is a beautiful house, and our room was lovely and spacious. We chose it to be as close as possible to the Port, an 8-10 minute walk away, and finding such a nice place was a lovely surprise. Jack welcomed us warmly and gave us good recommendations. Thank you for everything, Jack!

A lovely little place in an ideal spot for the ferry port, less than a 5-minute walk away. We stayed overnight because of the location. Our journey was severely delayed and we arrived in the middle of the night, but the owners were very accommodating. We went straight to our room with no fuss. Thank you for a pleasant experience.
