Ridgeland House

We’ve just spent two nights here and what a lovely place it is. Margaret was a fantastic host. The location is lovely, the views are great, and the rooms are large. Thanks for having us, we’d highly recommend staying here.

Margaret was a lovely host and let us come and go as we pleased. We stayed in the on-site log cabin, which felt comfortable and private. Ridgeland House is a fantastic B&B, well placed for Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Sterling. Five stars.

The views are phenomenal, and Margaret was a great host and wonderful cook. She also gave us lots of help planning our days. We stayed four nights and had a great time. We’ll stay again in the future.

My girlfriend loved this place so much that, for the next nine days, I kept hearing that nowhere else was nearly as nice as the one in Scotland. I eventually booked us a night in a castle, and that was the first night she stopped saying it. We spent three days here, and every one was amazing. The room was huge, the bathroom was huge too, almost like a master suite, and the Wi-Fi was strong. Margaret was always interested in what we’d been doing whenever we came or went, and she knew exactly how to get into the city. It was a perfect base between Glasgow and Edinburg. This was our first B&B on our Scotland and Ireland vacation, and we loved it. A must-stay!
