Polurrian on the Lizard

The wellness spa was amazing. Our hour's treatment included an hour of pool use, afternoon tea and a glass of prosecco, all at a very reasonable price. We had a fabulous stay, with a stunning sea view from our room, a delicious evening meal and friendly staff who went out of their way to make it memorable. Totally recommended.

Watching the waves crash on the rocks below while sipping wine was a real treat. We were there as a group for a birthday, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and festive. The food was scrumptious, and everyone on staff was welcoming and helpful. We’ve stayed here over the years, but this visit was the best yet. The games room with its pool table and air hockey was great fun, and the bar has a fantastic juke box. Thanks to the team for bringing it all together so beautifully. We’ll be back.

I arranged a Christmas party for my staff, and the sea view room and its views were amazing. The food was incredible and arrived hot, and breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Georgia from events was really helpful with the planning, so the whole experience from start to finish was incredible. The spa is the one part I think could be improved. The plans for the new spa facilities look great, and I’m excited to visit again in the future!

We booked at the last minute and what a fabulous find. The hotel is lovely, with beautiful downstairs decor and stunning views. Staff were welcoming and helpful, the food was excellent, and we stayed three nights with our dog. It’s such a beautiful part of the world, with lovely walks nearby, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. In room 106, the bed wasn’t very comfortable. The spa and pool are quite dated, and sadly they were dirty when we used them today. My partner spotted a plaster floating on the pool, and there was a lot of dirt at the bottom. Major renovations are planned, including what looks like a stunning new pool and spa experience soon.
