Simple Luxury in Brecon Beacons Village House

We spent a lovely family break here with our toddler and would happily come back to The Old Post office. It’s roomy, comfortable, and well stocked, with space for plenty of visitors. The garden was a lovely place to sit and take in the wide views of the Welsh hills. The house is gorgeous and much bigger than it first seems, and the post office is well equipped and cared for. We liked the peace of the countryside, while Llandovery was close by for supplies. We also visited nearby castles and woodlands, spotted lots of Red Kites, and explored Myddfai’s history. A real treat if you enjoy the outdoors and historic places. We’d recommend it to families.
