Jen was so helpful, with great tips for walks and getting into York, and nothing was too much trouble. When we left something behind in the lodge, she even posted it back a few days later. We stayed as a young family with a baby and had a lovely time. The lodge was spotless, secluded and peaceful in a beautiful spot. It was lovely waking up to cows grazing out front and seeing the friendly farm cats each day. We’d definitely recommend it and come back. Thanks!
The cows in the field just outside kept the kids entertained at breakfast, and the setting was peaceful, so it was a lovely place to unwind after day trips. We had a great week here with our family. The lodge had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the host was lovely.
We chose Home Farm for a last-minute family camping trip over the weekend, and it was just the peaceful, beautiful spot we wanted. The service was friendly from our first phone call right through to leaving, and the facilities were nice and clean, with someone always tending to them. We’ll definitely be back. We all wished we could have stayed longer. The cabin was very clean, quiet and peaceful, and just right for three of us and the dog. It had a great shower, kitchen and living area, and was excellent value for money. Jen was really helpful and gave us loads of information about York and places to visit. It was easy to drive into York for the outlet centre, then take a 7-minute bus ride into York. We’ll be going back as soon as we can.
The farm setting was peaceful, which we loved, and it was well placed for York and the surrounding area. The cabin was comfortable, had everything we needed, and the host was lovely.
