Sandown House B&B

We had a very nice stay at the Sandown House. The house was lovely and ideally located near the sea, with easy access to Inverness. Simon, our host, really cared about making sure we were comfortable and gave us some very nice recommendations.

We slept really well in the comfortable king size bed, and the room was spacious, with a sofa, fridge, iron, ironing board, dresser and a reasonably sized television. Liz and Andy were friendly and full of helpful recommendations. They paid attention to every detail, providing stylish accommodation and a tasty breakfast made with fresh, local ingredients. The house is in a quiet, quaint area near the beach, with pleasant, relaxing walks nearby. We won't be disappointed to return.

My husband and I stayed for two nights and absolutely loved the place. The room was really comfortable, with gorgeous decor and a huge bathroom. The homemade breakfast was to die for! We'll definitely be back.

Breakfast was the standout, with a quality and selection well beyond what we expected. We would book again just for the food. Liz and Andy were welcoming and helpful, and the spacious room was well equipped, including a large bathroom. It's very quiet, a five-minute walk to the ocean and about 20 minutes on foot to Nairn. There are lots of excellent golf courses within a 40-minute drive. We couldn't play Nairn this time because of a competition, but Nairn Dunbar is unbeatable for value. You could stay for weeks and play a different course each time. We only booked three nights, but next time we'd stay longer.
