Sunny Brae

Eight couples from our Scotland trip agreed that Sunny Brae was our best stay. The views were amazing, the accommodation beautiful, and breakfast delicious. Rachel and John were friendly hosts who really set the standard for running a B&B. Simply wonderful.

My husband found this gem for our trip with friends, and from the moment we arrived John and Rachel looked after us like VIPs. They were super hosts, attentive to every request and question. The location is superb, right in front of the sea, where you can enjoy the breeze and sunset, and great restaurants are all within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast was to die for. Five star all the way! Thank you, guys, for such an amazing stay. I'd definitely come back. 🤗👏👏👏

Sunny Brae was the last of the four B&Bs and inns my husband and I stayed in during the first two weeks of June, while visiting Ireland and Scotland. I planned to save the best for last, and certainly did. We had room 7, with a sitting area and a floor to ceiling window beside a chaise. What a view! We happily spent a few hours relaxing there on a rainy morning. John greeted us and showed us around, then we met Rachel later. She's lovely. They suggested things to do when the weather was rainy, and every idea was perfect. Rachel also offered to serve breakfast a little early so we could leave on our final day. Breakfast was perfect too, with private tables and full service. I was sad to leave, since we live so far away, but if we return to Scotland I'll go out of my way to stay with them again.

Rachel and John were great hosts, with an incredible eye for detail, and we had a perfect stay at Sunny Brae. You can't beat the location, close to the beach and lots of walking trails, with the town centre just a short jaunt away. Highly recommend it.
