Low Bradfield felt like a Christmas wonderland, with beautifully decorated pubs and amazing food and drink. Foxhole Farms gave us a discount code for a few places in town. We enjoyed walking down the hill each evening to the Bradfield Plough or the Assembly, and also drove up to High Bradfield to try Old Horn Inn. Foxhole Farms was a perfect home base for trips to different parts of the Peaks District for beautiful hikes and views. We stayed in cottage 8, which had everything we needed for a cozy countryside holiday. The kitchen was well stocked, appliances worked well, and there were nice towels, a bedroom fan, and a portable heater. It was winter and the windows were a little drafty, so the living room and kitchen felt chilly at times, but a sweater, cozy duvet and heater kept me comfortable. We also used the laundry facilities, which worked well. The hot water pressure is low and it can take a while to come on, as other reviews mention, but the instructions were clear and there was enough pressure for me to wash my long hair. The internet and cell service worked great throughout. I’m from the U.S. and used my Verizon TravelPass with no trouble. I was also looking for somewhere safe to park my rental car, and appreciated having plenty of safe parking.

The cottages were spotless, and the Peak District setting was so quiet and peaceful, with beautiful hills all around. We had a wonderful stay at Foxholes Farm. It’s a lovely rural getaway, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to explore local trails and nearby villages.

Flat 6 was warm, clean and cozy, and we all felt welcome. My family had a brilliant time during our stay. We’ll definitely come back for another holiday.

The views from the top over the surrounding hills are beautiful, and the nearby places to eat that were recommended were nice. We had a lovely time with the family and would absolutely come back. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the heating was easy to use, so we stayed warm and cozy. The bath was clean and a nice depth; the shower nozzle was a bit awkward, though it may be fine if you’re used to it. There were plenty of towels, good free toiletries including bath and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and washing-up liquid under the sink. Great place!

The location was lovely, close to the Peak District and its many hiking trails. Inside, the rooms were beautiful, and we especially liked the old-fashioned bathroom. The only small issue was the shared washers, as we found it hard to get our things in before other people. Still an amazing place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.
