The place had a really homely atmosphere, and the service was friendly and quick. I enjoyed the ham, mustard and cheese panini, which was tasty and very cheesy. The chips looked and tasted like ordinary oven-baked ones you’d have at home, rather than deep-fried restaurant chips. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, skip the lemonade, it contains juniper extract :)

The Wi-Fi is rapid and the coffee was really nice. It’s a quirky cafe that also sells kitchenware, close to the town centre, with a lovely breakfast menu and some savory flans that looked amazing. Worth seeking out, as it’s nicer than some of the other nearby cafes, and you can browse the homeware while you’re there.

We’ve visited a couple of times and the staff have always been extremely courteous. Service is excellent, and the homemade food is superb. The prices are very reasonable, inexpensive even, though not cheap. Keep it secret!

Dog-friendly, which made it a win for us. We both went for the bacon and cheese quiche with salad and chips after spotting how good it looked. It was packed with flavour and really cheesy. The latte was good too. Mmm, highly recommend!

There’s a gift shop here with some lovely things to buy. It’s a family-run place, and both the food and drinks were good. They’re dog-friendly, and kids are made to feel welcome too. Meals can be prepared the way you ask, and the staff do their best to keep you happy.
