No 7 Moorfield Road - 3 Bed Townhouse - Narberth

Breakfast was excellent, one of the best cooked full breakfasts I’ve had in ages, and there were plenty of other choices too. The hotel is near the town centre. My room was clean and spacious, with a large ensuite bathroom, plus complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water.

We left at 12.30am Tuesday because we didn’t feel safe, and nobody has contacted us to ask why we left early. We’ve stayed here for over 8 years and never had an experience like this. There were only six people staying, and no staff on through the night, so it seemed anyone could walk in. The bed in our clean room was horrendously hard. I couldn’t sleep and my husband’s back hurt. When we arrived for our two-night stay on December 28th and 29th, a lovely blonde lady told us the bar was closing at 4pm and offered us a bottle of wine and two glasses to take to our room. We were told to go to the Angel hotel if we wanted food. We’ll never stay here again. They seem interested only in payments.

The rooms are clean, and the staff who are there are friendly and helpful, so I can’t fault them. Still, the hotel isn’t as good as it used to be. Rooms don’t have as much provided as before, and it feels like they’re saving money at the cost of services.

The food was to die for, and I’d happily eat here again and again. The restaurant is luxurious and gorgeously decorated. Everyone on staff was so friendly, and even the chef came out to check guests had everything they needed. They apologized for a wait because there was a large function in another room, though my husband and I hadn’t noticed any delay. A lovely evening.
