The Fox and Goat

The food was excellent, and the waitresses were attentive and friendly. We had time between courses and weren’t rushed out at closing, so we stayed until the restaurant shut. There were four of us at dinner on Saturday evening. On arrival, we were welcomed, shown to our table and offered drinks. It was full and buzzing, with a great atmosphere. This was the best meal out we’ve had in a long time, and we can’t wait to return.

I come here often for the great food and, even more, the lovely staff and really good service. Abbie deserves a special mention for being professional and friendly. Nothing seems too much trouble for her, even on the busiest days. Keep it up, we look forward to coming back.

Dawn and Stewart clearly run a well-organized pub. Everything went smoothly and efficiently even on a busy day, which shows how much care they put into the place. We had a wonderful Mothering Sunday lunch today at The Fox & Goat. The food was full of flavour, beautifully cooked and served in generous portions. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always smiling, and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was lovely, and the whole visit felt relaxed and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back.

It was Father's Day today, 21st June 2026, and four of us, my dad, mum, brother and me, went for dinner. The place was packed and the staff were constantly rushing back and forth, but they kept smiling and were polite and helpful. The food was fantastic. I haven’t been here for years, and what a great team they are.
