Sophie was so welcoming and helpful, and we’ll definitely come back. We stayed over New Year, and the cottage was beautiful and immaculately presented. The countryside around it is lovely for walks, while Barrowford and its shops are only a short drive away.

We only wish we’d had more time without plans, so we could properly enjoy the location. We booked at short notice for a family wedding nearby, and Sophie and her family were really helpful and accommodating. They’ve got a great setup here. We’d definitely recommend it and hope to return soon.

The countryside around the cottage is stunning, and the cottage itself is beautiful and cosy. The owner does everything they can to make you feel at home. It’s a perfect country getaway.

I’m a bit particular about cleanliness, so finding the cottage spotless meant I could relax and enjoy every minute. I was fortunate to come across this lovely countryside gem when I needed somewhere nice to stay. I strongly recommend middle wood farm cottage, big time.
