The meals were delicious and the flavours were amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Priory Bay Hotel. Our room was warm and beautiful, with spectacular views. The only sad part was leaving. We’d love to come back xxx

The food was first class throughout the evening, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us, and The Priory Bay Hotel had such a relaxed, welcoming feel from the moment we walked in. It was our first visit to The Priory, but it certainly won’t be the last. Thank you to everyone, from front of house to the chef, from The Rackett Family!!!!

We stopped in for coffee and cake, then sat with our drinks by a roaring log fire. We liked the place enough that, even though we live locally, we’re planning to come back and stay the night. More to follow after that visit. Priory Bay feels like a little escape on the Isle of Wight, with lovely grounds and a private beach that non-residents can reach only at low tide. The hotel’s Tudor and Georgian architecture is splendid, and the grounds are beautifully kept, with a golf course as well. You might spot local Red Squirrels running about as you walk around.

I’ve never stayed at priory, but I often pop in for a few drinks or a hot chocolate on stormy days. They welcome non-residents as long as you’re respectful. It’s a lovely spot and the staff are really welcoming. 10/10

It’s a nice hotel, but it seems to have lost the warm, friendly charm and grace it was once known for.
